Fairhope Intermediate's Science Lab participated in the Environment Online Planting Day 2008. Particpants world wide pledged to plant trees on the Autumnal Equinox. Mrs. Waselkov, Science Lab teacher, said,"

"When I visited the ENO website, more than 5000 trees had already been planted, and more people are logging in all the time.  This is also connected to the U.N. Billion Tree Campaign. " 

Pictured are 5^th graders from Ms. Sutley's class. They helped plant a red buckeye, and a tulip poplar in the nature center.
